April Album Releases

So we’re into the 4 month of the year, and albums are still being made, released and rated. But still no sign of that new Ed Sheeran album, though he is set to release the first single off of it on Monday (7th April).

3 days in and already 10 albums have been released and purchased by music fans across the globe. Here’s what has already been released:-

April 1st

  • Chevelle – La Gárgola
  • Chiodos – Devil
  • Christina Perri – Head or Heart
  • Cloud Nothings – Here and Nowhere Else
  • Fairweather – Fairweather
  • Lacuna Coil – Broken Crown Halo
  • Mac DeMarco – Salad Days
  • Manchester Orchestra – Cope
  • Steel Panther – All You Can Eat
  • The Used – Imaginary Enemy

April 2nd & 3rd – No Releases

Out of the albums already released it can be said that Steel Panther have one named specially for their own tastes, Christina Perri is still singing ballards and Mac DeMarco have found a healthy way in which to express their indie sounds. In my own opinion, I was only aware of two of these albums releases, Chiodos and Steel Panther. Neither of these are my own personal favourite but something about them seems to interest me. I’m sure I’ll give them a listen later in them month.

Onto the albums which will be released during the rest of the month. Nothing is set to be released until the 7th from the list I have gathered, so if anyone is aware of anything I may have missed, feel free to comment. However, this month I’m going to be highlighting, or making bold, the albums which I think are of great importance and could produce some of the anthems for this year so I would love to hear if you agree with me.
